The same odds are shown in three formats. A ৳500 bet that wins returns ৳1,250 in total — ৳750 profit plus the ৳500 stake back. If Team A loses, the full ৳500 is gone.
Example 2 — Bet on Team B (favourite) to win (৳500)
Because Team B is the favourite, the odds are lower. A ৳500 bet returns ৳625 — a profit of only ৳125. A negative American odds figure shows how much you need to stake to win ৳100 — -400 means you need to bet ৳400 to make ৳100 profit.
